Verdict

Those to have raced look more interesting than those who haven't and so it is FEATHERBED LANE who is preferred to Bitter Blue and Rationing in an intriguing finale. The selection put in his best effort to date when second to Big Time Billy at Ludlow last month. That good run coincided with better ground and with this surface likely to suit he should run well. Bitter Blue has been given a break since his solid Catterick fourth and must be of interest, along with Altan Khan who is better than he was able to show at the same track in January. Wicked Streak and Brother Bob can both improve on midfield finishes on debut, whilst Our Mick looks the most interesting newcomer and this home-bred is related to winners. Roi De Garde and Flockton Tobouggie have both hinted at ability, whilst any market move for Tears From Heaven should be heeded. Rationing looks a major player as well after a promising first run at the track; Campbell Gillies looks an interesting jockey booking with the conundrum of Oliver Greenall shifting Easterby's to retain the ride on Bitter Blue. A tough end to the card for punters but perhaps a good chance for Featherbed Lane to break his duck.
