Charlie Appleby's charge won the Zabeel Mile at the same level a year ago and William Buick has chosen him over Modern News, who he rode to two of his three victories in the UK last summer. Mutafawwig, another from Godolphin, will have found 6f too sharp here last month while stable companion Storm Damage looked in need of the run in the Group 2 Al Fahidi Fort three weeks ago and can reverse places with runner-up Story Of Light, who was race-fit.
