        Verdict

        Dubai Icon previously had a decent record here without winning but put matters right with an emphatic all-the-way victory three weeks ago. Godolphin's Rebel's Romance started odds-on for that race on the back of last season's UAE Derby victory but was beaten 25l though was found to be mildly lame post-race. He still has plenty of ground to make up on the winner and recent winners Book Review and Sanad Libya will be getting plenty of weight. SALUTE THE SOLDIER (NAP) has a tremendous record here having won at Group 1/2/3 level and last month's run over a trip too short will have blown away the cobwebs. He can continue his excellent form on the track though Doug O'Neill has hit the ground running and Appreciated is one to note on his debut here.
