In depth

Verdict

Tadhg O'Shea has been in outstanding form at the first few meetings in the Emirates and his mount here, Al Farahidi, is gradually coming back to form. Momaris is a very consistent performer who won easily at Jebel Ali three weeks ago but is making his debut on this track. Al Razi is decent at this level but better over 6f though he does hold recent winner Latkhaf on earlier form. Despite a huge drop in the ratings from when he was placed at Group 3 level in the UK, HAZAZ took 16 races to lose his maiden tag but did so in style here two weeks ago and even a big weight rise shouldn't prevent a follow-up. Darwin Award, a winner at Belmont last year, showed that his turn is near with a staying-on effort over 6f here last time.
