In depth

Verdict

Wayne Smith rode a canny race on Ramonti Flash over the track and trip a fortnight ago, seizing the initiative half-a-mile from home and catching his rivals, including the favourite Busker, stone cold. The latter will be 7lb better off and is much better than he showed so could turn the tables. Canwinn likes it around here and is generally competitive at this sort of level while Mustaheel was very highly tried both here and in France after landing a Listed contest at Maisons-Laffitte in April of last year. If he's ready for this he'll be a big threat to HAATHEQ, who ended the last campaign with a brilliant effort behind Soft Falling Rain in the Group 2 Godolphin Mile on World Cup night.
