          Verdict

          Trolius had three runs in the UAE early last year culminating in a victory at Abu Dhabi in March. SHANTY STAR, a winner on Dirt here in March, was caught in the closing stages over 7f on Dirt a fortnight ago when Almoreb was three lengths behind. That could be good enough for this. Nova Roma, a winner for John Gosden, ran well for a long way here two weeks ago though that was over 1m4f while Tafaakhor is better over further. Al Salt completed a double on Tapeta for William Haggas last summer and looks a fine acquisition for the Charpy operation.
