Verdict

Freya Alex has the call here on Official Ratings and should score here at the expense of Little John, Rousing Thunder and Cedar Grove. The selection has been crying out for a step up in trip and this race gives him an opportunity of proving himself at this distance in this weak-looking affair. He should be suited by the track and goes well on fast ground. Little John has been infamous in recent seasons of always being the bridesmaid having finished second place in plenty of races. There is no reason to why he should score today if others run up to their form and could well finish in the runners-up position again. Rousing Thunder has chances based on the racecourse form he has shown to date but it is a tough ask for him to score on his seasonal reappearance.
