In depth

Verdict

Golden Asha is very much in form at present and has to be respected but could be better drawn and a safer bet looks to be Harrison's Flyer, who is preferred to Millinsky. The last mentioned took a long time to open her account but has not looked back since and remains feasibly well treated; however, Rae Guest's filly is not particularly well berthed in stall nine and may be best watched. Divine Spirit receives weight all round and has shown signs of coming into form of late, while Ashes has claims if fit enough for his first run since the summer. Prince Namid failed to stay six furlongs last time and has to be respected back in distance from a favourable draw. Brigadore and Kings College Boy have solid place claims but may again have to settle for a minor role and preference is for Harrison's Flyer, who was good value for his success at York last time off just a 4lb lower mark than today's, has a decent draw and the assistance of Jamie Spencer.
