Verdict

POINT LYNAS ran in very decent juvenile contests for Charles Hills and now has a first start for the Edward Bethell yard which is ticking along nicely. He's not a strong choice due to a near 240-day absence but conditions will suit and he's one to keep onside. Aasser has no fitness concerns and is consistent but this is a step-up in grade. He's not ruled out though, nor is Dig Two who has contested a couple of Class 2 contests this term and is now down a level with first-time cheekpieces applied. Chrysos has a first start since being gelded and Celestial Star has a strong shout if the value of her second here to Million Thanks in a Class 5 maiden is taken literally.
