In depth

Verdict

Sparkle In His Eye enjoyed a fine time during the winter and it's a question of whether he repeats the dose here as his record on Turf is 0-6. Both wins of Aquamas have come here but the hike from the handicapper made things tougher for him last time. He's off the same mark now but should still give a good account with race conditions to suit. Mr Strutter hunted him up last month and is better off at the weights so he too is respected. CRAGSIDE (NAP) gives the impression he hasn't yet fulfilled his potential and he disappointed at Catterick latest, but his two previous runner-up efforts over this trip were really promising in this grade and he's worth another chance.
