In depth

Verdict

Not too bad for a Class 6 handicap and Deevious Beau may well supplement a fairly straightforward success in an amateur riders' handicap on the all-weather last month. He's proved consistent throughout his nine starts this year and should give his running once more with the drop back to the minimum trip not likely to prove troublesome. Lord Of The Glen is a course regular who wins in his turn and had The Gloaming and EARN YOUR STRIPES back in third and fourth. That rated an improved effort from the latter though and the race didn't pan out ideally for him and he's a speculative choice with tongue tie and headgear applied now. Sixcor and Bridgetown may also take a hand.
