      Verdict

      FAITHFUL PROMISE is the obvious call in this having been beaten only a neck at Ripon last time. Mark Johnston’s filly is preferred to Shobrom, who will find this easier than last month’s debut task at Newmarket and should figure. Hypnotic Dancer and Primo's Comet make little appeal on what they have shown so far but Holmfirst is a half-brother to a winning two-year-old and makes more appeal than fellow newcomer Shanghai Elastic.
