In depth

Verdict

ELECTION DAY ended last year with a double but was no match for the progressive Stradivarius on his reappearance at Beverley. He looks to have an easier task in this and is preferred to George Reme, who was fourth over a shorter trip at the same meeting at Beverley last month. Carlisle maiden winner Euro Nightmare returns to action having finished ahead of Davy's Dilemma and Jamacho at Ayr in September while Kuraka makes his handicap debut on his first start since October.
