      Verdict

      Gometra Ginty was a couple of lengths behind Abduction at Catterick last month but is 4lb better off and there shouldn’t be much to chose between the pair today. Manigordo was only fifth in the aforementioned contest but ahead of Gometra Ginty and Merricourt previously here and the latter was less than a length behind Brazen Bolt at Ayr later and is 3lb better off. RAMON DI LORIA won over track and trip last month and was not beaten far over 6f at Hamilton last week. Ewan Whillans’ Irish import has found his best form again and looks the one to beat.
