Verdict

Mr Auchterlonie, Reivers Moon and Il Cavaliere look the three to concentrate on in this competitive opener and the vote is given to Mr Achterlonie. The selection has been in fair form of late without winning but a reproduction of his latest second behind Harrovian would make him hard to beat as that form has been franked, he will like this faster ground and is hard to oppose. Reivers Moon rates the main danger as she gets the mares allowance and was a fair third behind has scored last time out. However this looks tougher and for that reason she is opposed. Il Cavaliere is another worthy of respect now that he gets his favoured ground but he has yet to win over a trip this far before so he is over looked. Of the remainder Kippour is from a yard in form and is one to note in the market but for the winner we return to Mr Auchterlonie.
