        Verdict

        Gincident has yet to win on Turf but has won three of his last four on the all-weather and has race-fitness on his side. His trainer also sent out the winner of this in 2017 and 2019 but the Johnston yard has saddled the winner in three of the last four years. Joe Fanning was on board the first past the post last season and partners course winner Finn's Charm but Oisin Murphy’s mount LION OF WAR is just preferred as he may be more forward at this time of year. Metahorse holds Pol Roger on York running in the autumn with Manitou and Captain Winters possibly the pick of the remainder.
