    Verdict

Michael Bell has secured the services of Donnacha O'Brien for ELEMENTARY who should improve for his debut run which came in a pretty hot novice contest where the son of Exceed And Excel took on some useful winning sorts. He was staying-on steadily enough after not receiving the clearest of passages and should find this company more to his liking with that experience sure to benefit. Heatongrad has solid form but is looking a little exposed and Lucky Esteem makes greater appeal as she was not strongly supported on her Doncaster debut but shaped nicely enough in third spot. She'll come on for that and should be involved. Both Syphax and Halawain have US pedigrees and represent strong northern yards so support for either on debut should be carefully heeded.
