    Verdict

Dasheen takes on his elders for the first time and is respected although his last two runner-up runs have both come in small-field maidens and the form remains open to some doubt. He is obviously worthy of consideration as one of the few potential improvers on show but LONGROOM is a similar type and expected to go off at a much larger price. He showed his first signs of real form last time when a fair fourth to Ordinal over course and distance last month and could be a player here if Noel Wilson can eke further improvement out of the lightly-raced Oasis Dream gelding. Check 'em Tuesday fits into a similar category whilst the veteran Rasaman, now an 11-year-old, and Gypsy Major are others to note. Dark Crystal was much better the last day but the form of his yard is a concern as they've yet to post a winner in 2016.
