    Verdict

Classy Anne, well backed at Ayr on Monday when thwarted by Dark Defender, should go well on this recovery mission as she's been threatening to win for a while but FUMBO JUMBO can deny Jim Goldie's mare. The selection carries a 6lb penalty for her win here last month but such was the clear cut nature of that success over Flash City that she's hard to oppose. It's frequently worth following in-form fillies at this time of year and she has her conditions once again. Captain Dunne is no back number at the age of 11 and David Nicholls fires two darts with Pearl Acclaim and Imperial Legend, with the latter preferred of the pair. Henley has been a reliably consistent performer for Tracy Waggott this term and showed he's holding his form well when runner-up to Oriental Splendour late last month in a competitive Pontefract handicap.
