In depth
Verdict
Purcell's Bridge won very easily at Wetherby last week and escapes a penalty for that success. He probably has more to offer but this is a better race and MONETARY FUND has the better overall form. He was doing his best work at the finish over 2m6f at Newton Abbot in September and normally takes on stronger opposition. Jeu De Roseau made a promising reappearance at Wetherby last month when Saga De Tercey was behind and Merrydown pulled up. He has place prospects again while it would be no surprise to see Everaard step up on recent efforts back over his favourite track and trip. Ryton Runner appears to be facing a stiff task at the weights, however, and Solway Bay could find a few of these too quick.
