Royal Cosmic ran easily her best race to date in an amateurs' event at Beverley and Paul Hanagan takes over the reins. ROYAL ICON is still a maiden but went very close when stepped up to 1m3f on heavy ground at Carlisle and can go one better. Inspector Norse doesn't win very often but is generally consistent on this sort of ground and Schmooze would be an obvious threat if able to repeat her most recent run here last week, though that was over 1m6f. Dyna Might was in excellent form in the early part of the summer and there looked to be something amiss when tailed off at Thirsk last time.
