      Verdict

      HAN SOLO BERGER battled on to score over 6f at Hamilton and started odds-on at Carlisle but didn't get the run of the race before staying on. This trip should suit and he can concede 7lb to Marchingontogether, whose victory at Leicester came on very fast ground. Canadian George has looked in need of further but Gabrials Centurion may not have been suited by Chester in his last two starts. Southpark was quickly brushed aside at Carlisle but still looks best of Richard Fahey's pair.
