In depth
Verdict
Emirati Dirham has shown ability in three outings so far though not a great deal of improvement and an apprentice takes 5lb off his back for this. Yorkshire Pirlo made a promising start when third over 6f at Redcar though TANTASTIC is preferred over today’s minimum trip. Outclassed in the Windsor Castle at Ascot last time, Brian Ellison’s colt finished runner-up at Newcastle on his debut and can go close back at this level. Acklam Express finished in front of Tapeten Toni when third at Beverley and looks best of the rest unless the newcomer International Girl, a half-sister to a winner in Italy, proves above average.
