Verdict
KUIPER BELT has been lightly-raced on the Flat but was a smooth winner over hurdles at Perth nine days ago and has untapped potential - he’s likely to be a short price here. Gordon Elliott’s second string, Hurricane Volta, has each-way claims but Jan Smuts is 8lb higher than when successful over course and distance last month. Pantomime is more interesting as he was only raised 3lb for winning at Wetherby and wasn’t disgraced at Newcastle last time. Cosmic Tigress has won here in the past and is looking well treated but has been out of sorts.
