In depth

Verdict

A low grade event which BRONZE BEAU seems up to winning though Oondiri and Weetentherty have obvious claims. The gelding won a maiden seller at Hamilton Park having ran close up at Redcar in a handicap the time previously. The tonguestrap that accompanied his first success remains and at BHA figures, hopes should be high of a follow up. Oondiri takes an interesting drop in class. She seems to appreciate five furlongs on genuine top of the ground. Weetentherty has a bit to do on the form book over this trip though Jim Goldie's stable are in fine form. Flow Chart has yet to capture the same level of form on turf that he has shown on an artificial surface. Ignore would have been better off were this a handicap though his latest effort over five furlongs showed far more promise than recent experiences over further. Bronze Beau is at least in form and that carries plenty of clout at this level.
