Verdict
A competitive field goes to post for this handicap and many have chances on their best form. Peartree House, Market Avenue and Finmar are all sure to have there supporters, and we will take a chance on Peartree House. The gelding from the bang in form David Chapman yard has been in good form of late and his latest third behind Ivory Bay at Beverley gives him every chance. He is proven on the ground and he is still well weighted on the best of his form. Market Avenue rates the main danger despite top weight. He was a fair fourth behind Rani Two at Chester last time. That rival has since ran well in a better race so the form looks rock solid. Finmar won a seller a couple of runs ago but he has since been beaten in a low grade handicap and although he has definite place claims he may struggle to win off this mark. Hormuz is another that could go well he is thrown in on his best form but he has become very disappointing of late and for that reason he is opposed. Of the remainder Sheer Focus is from a top yard and is worth a cautionary look in the market.
