      Verdict

      Another small field goes to post for this classified stakes race but many have chances on their best form. Tamarella, Count Cougar, Landing Strip and The Gambler are all sure to have the supporters but we will take a chance on Count Cougar who was a fair fourth behind Blue Spinnaker last time and a reproduction of that form would see him go close. Tamarella rates the main danger on his best form but he was very disappointing last time out. Landing Strip is another worthy of consideration. He was a good winner when defeating Victoria Park last time and a reproduction of that effort would see him go close. The Gambler has the ability to win this race but he is not the most straight forward of rides and for that reason he is opposed on this occasion. The remainder need to improve on all known form to take a hand in the finish.
