Verdict
Kristensen,York Cliff, Lennel and Rare Coincidence are a handful against the field in a wide open affair and the vote is given to York Cliff. The selection was a fair third behind Lake Wakitipu last time out, that form has since been franked and under conditions that suit he looks the one to be on. Kristensen has dropped to a handy mark and could go well at a price but he has looked a shadow of his formerself of late so can not be put forward with any confidence. Of the remainder Lennel has the ability to go close but does not always use it and for the winner we return to York Cliff who looks sure to have the race run to suit.
