Verdict
Own Line might prove the answer to a poor contest on paper, with I Got Rhythm and Cosmic Case taken to give him most to do. The step up in trip today may bring about the required improvement needed to see Own Line open his account over hurdles. A middle-distance winner on the Flat at Catterick in 2003, James Hetherton's charge had shown little in more testing conditions before finishing third over two and a half miles here a fortnight ago. The faster ground helped as he gave chase to the more fancied Count Fosco on his handicap debut and the extra half-mile looks just the job. I Got Rhythm has to give him three-pounds and although successful here over two miles in the past, has yet to prove that she truly stays today's sort of trip. Her third to Nolife last time was in fact the first time that she had been placed since scoring here nearly two years ago. Cosmic Case was behind her a fortnight ago and and so she should uphold that form at least, while of the rest, Greek Star bids to atone after failing to justify support over shorter at Market Rasen on his last outing. With more going for him than most though, Own Line gets the vote.
