In depth
Verdict
A very interesting novices’ handicap in which all would appear to have some sort of chance. Elmono only beat King Golan a short-head over 3m here last month and there should be nothing between them on today’s terms. Lucinda Russell also runs The Road Home and Boy's On Tour, both regulars here, while Wishfull Dreaming bids to follow up a recent course success over 2m1f under a penalty. SPORTING PRESS is the only one of these that doesn’t have chasing experience but he has placed between the flags and won a bumper around here around this time last year. Brian Hughes is keeping the faith, despite some disappointments over hurdles, and he is definitely worth a second look.
