Verdict
Further Outlook, Atlantic Viking and Rudi's Pet are all ones for the shortlist and Further Outlook secures the nod. Declan Carroll now has the twelve year old in his care and while it would be unfeasible for us to expect him to run anywhere near his best form - five furlongs is very much his ideal trip and a bold effort from the front is anticipated. Atlantic Viking has been away in Spain for some time albeit unsuccessfully. He returns again to Dandy Nicholls so the market is watched incase of any sparkle. Rudi's Pet makes a first run of the season. An admiral old campaigner, he has the services of useful stable apprentice, Victoria Behan. Shatin Leader's only win came at Hamilton over six furlongs and he is opposed. Chiselled was well supported ahead of a recent run in a claimer at Wolverhampton but faded tamely when the race began in earnest. Some real old friends here and Further Outlook is favoured.
