        Verdict

        RUNNING REEF is getting steadily closer. A course and distance winner last season, Tracy Waggott's charge hinted at a return to winning ways is imminent when a runner-up at Carlisle last time. Orwellian has done all his winning over 6f but Mysterial was beaten less than a length at Beverley over today's trip on his penultimate start and has a shout. Ixelles Diamond scored over 7f at Warwick in May and there should be more to come from her this season.
