ROBBIE is related to plenty of winners and Keith Reveley's gelding is narrowly preferred to That's All, Kilbrannish Hill and Eastern Supreme. The selection comes from a yard that have a profitable strike-rate at the track, and although they haven't had a bumper winner here in the last five seasons this fellow looks worth chancing. His dam was a prolific winner on the flat and he himself is a half-brother to winners under both codes. That's All was picked up for just 800 guineas at the sales a year ago and he is out of a half-sister to Derby runner-up The Great Gatsby, whilst Kilbrannish Hill was a point-to-point winner at Toomebridge last month and evidently has some ability. There is plenty of class on the dam's side of Henro Boy's pedigree, Eastern Supreme has a penalty for a Market Rasen win but he did it nicely and has a good claimer to negate the extra weight, whilst Bachelor Lad struggled under his penalty when last seen but was well-backed and better is anticipated today. Sam Thomas looks an interesting booking on Bridlingtonbygones, whilst any market support for Wilde Pastures or Manuels Sister would have to be taken extremely seriously. The last-named is related to plenty of winners and is the only horse that the yard send over to the meeting. Ireland is strongly represented here in the best bumper the north of Great Britain has seen this season, but narrow preference is for the Cleveland-based Robbie.
