Tedstale, a winner of back-to-back claimers in the summer, has an obvious chance at the weights in the same grade again today and is taken to resume winning ways at the main expense of Alfonso and Court of Appeal. The last mentioned still retains ability at the age of nine but is strictly held by the selection on running at Catterick last month so he is probably best watched today. Nakwa drops back to a more suitable trip but needs to improve on all known form to trouble the selection and of more interest may be Yenaled, who looks to be running into form right now. Platinum Charmer is interesting dropping down into this grade but he faces no easy task at the weights and a bigger threat may come from Alfonso, who has solid claims at the weights but has yet to prove his effectiveness over this trip. There are no such problems for Tedstale though and he is taken to resume winning ways.
