Let It Be seemed to stay this trip well enough when successful at Catterick last time and he has to be respected but Keith Reveley's gelding faces a stiffer task today off a 3lb higher mark and a better bet looks to be Mister Arjay with Thewhirlingdervish rated the best of the rest. The selection has been running consistently well all summer and lost no caste in defeat off today's mark behind Incursion on ground that was softer than ideal at Catterick last time and, back under more suitable conditions, he looks the one they all have to beat. Trance showed better form last time but is inconsistent, while Silvertown may now be in the grip of the handicapper.
