Signor Whippee has been raised 9lbs for his long overdue maiden success at Newcastle last time and is probably best watched in a race where the tentative vote goes to Seven No Trumps ahead of Alugat. The last mentioned has been running consistently of late and has the best of the draw in stall one but may just be a shade high in the weights at present. The three-year-old She's Our Beauty may be open to more improvement than most of these but needs to step up on previous form to trouble the judge, while Trumpita has more to do than when winning at Ayr on a softer surface last time. Howards Princess is capable but inconsistent and of more interest may be Milton Bradley's Campeon, who has been running into form of late. Stablemate Seven No Trumps has similarly been showing much better form recently and will be better suited by the underfoot conditions today so he gets the vote.
