Verdict

Just the five runners here and it will be a surprise if topweight Gangsters R Us is not good enough to give weight and a beating away to his rivals, the best of who look to be Club Royal and Lunar Maxwell. The selection has gone up 9lbs for his most recent success at Musselburgh but that looks fair and Alan Parker's gelding can complete the hat trick. Club Royal is slipping to a fair mark but has given little sign of encouragement of late. Similar comments apply to Lunar Maxwell but the nine-year-old still makes more appeal than Early Edition, who has been well beaten in all starts this term. Shogoon looks distinctly moderate in a race that should go to Gangsters R Us.
