      ANNANGEL was beaten a long way at Newcastle on the first day of the month then went to Beverley 10 days later to gain a shock 80/1 victory after making most. In that kind of form, she'll be very difficult to catch. Joshua R showed potential in two starts last term and almost made all on his return at Pontefract three weeks ago, just failing to hold Magical Moment who was receiving 5lb. The pair could have the race between them as Sound Of Iona is returning from almost a year off and Gorgeous Gobolina was engaged in the 5.00 at Thirsk yesterday.
