In depth

Verdict

After going close on debut at Redcar, CHIEF’S WILL ran a shocker when a warm favourite at Carlisle but Archie Watson may have found him a good opportunity to recoup losses here in first-time cheekpieces. Stripzee ran second at Beverley after winning a Redcar seller and rates a danger while Timbukone is improving with experience. A similar comment applies to Fille De La Lune while Marquis Of York is a half-brother to a middle-distance winner. Herbertandflorence also makes his debut but he was a cheap purchase in comparison to many of the stable’s juveniles.
