In depth

Verdict

Despite the fact that he finished down the field, Cornas ran well for a long way in a pretty decent Chepstow bumper on debut, and he can make the long trip north pay her for Evan Williams, with Triggerman and Kandelin among those with chances. The selection was clearly not strongly fancied on that introduction, but he gave plenty of encouragement with his effort and can improve to take this. Another potential improver is Kandelin, who did little on debut but would be no shock winner. Triggerman, Still At Lunch and Poseidon have similar form thus far, with Lennie Lungo's charge likely to come on most of the trio and he can probably win that particular battle, but Cornas is the one taken to score.
