This is a competitive race to close the card and from a shortlist of Nomoreblondes, Darcy's Pride and Mr Rooney we will side with Nomoreblondes. The selection is a course and distance winner and she arrives here in good form having chased home Hypnosis at Catterick last time. She has conditions to suit here and she should make a bold bid. Darcy's Pride has a good draw and she was only collared close home by Johnston's Glory at Catterick last week. That was over six furlongs so this drop in trip should suit and she can go well. A case can be made for Mr Rooney claiming a place, but he hasn't won for three years and he is not one to have maximum faith in. Welcome Approach has gone well here in the past so he could represent a decent each-way punt. Nomoreblondes makes most appeal though and is put forward as the pick.
