Adorabella is selected ahead of King Of Connacht and Olimpo. The selection has yet to win a race but she has made the frame a few times and looks capable of landing a race of this nature from this sort of mark. Track, trip and ground should all suit and Travis Block is one of the more experienced pilots in the field. King Of Connacht has been running well of late, races from the same mark and should be in the mix again; he will also have plenty of assistance from the saddle but his low draw is not ideal. Olimpo made the most of the drop in grade to run well in a Leicester claimer last time and he has been given a real chance by the handicapper and could go well if he can build on that performance. A tricky race to get proceedings under way but the in-form Alan King may provide us with a winner with Adorabella.
