Wayne Lordan rode Youceeyouceecee to victory at Tipperary but Killian Leonard had partnered the gelding in his four previous starts and takes off 7lb again here. Brokopondo stays further but won over a similar trip to today's at Down Royal two runs ago. Daredevil Day hasn't won since 2014 but is quite consistent, though he lacks the scope of ACE OF DIAMONDS. Dermot Weld's three-year-old has progressed with every run and can make a winning start in handicaps if he lasts home over this longer trip.
