      Verdict

      Unconquerable's second to Point Lonsdale at the Curragh couldn't have worked out much better and he was conceding 5lb when touched off by Hadman, who runs earlier, at Gowran with a subsequent winner in third. I Am Magic was last of five at Leopardstown but wasn't beaten far and should do better. ANCHORAGE is by Galileo out of an unraced mare from a top-class family and the Ballydoyle colt can make a successful start. Apache Star is by No Nay Never out of an unraced mare while Obdurate is a half-brother to winning miler Flagged. Trent is a half-brother to two winners from 6f-1m but Vega Magnifico may well provide the main threat. He cost 260,000gns and is a half-brother to seven winners including three at Group level.
