In depth

Verdict

Vocal Music carries 6lb extra for winning at the Curragh but has more scope than High Altitude, raised 7lb for last month’’s success at Killarney where he beat both Insignia Of Rank and Avalanche. Raphael returned a losing favourite at Leopardstown and an apprentice takes over the reins today while Global Pass also came up short when sent off favourite at Killarney last time. ZAYRIYAN returns from a lay-off having placed behind a subsequent winner when third at Dundalk back in May but first-time headgear may bring about the necessary improvement and Dermot Weld’s charge gets a speculative vote.
