In depth

Verdict

It was soft going when Try Again won over a shorter trip at Roscommon and he’s raised 6lb. Schoolboy Error has won three times this year but was well beaten at the Curragh last time while Bit Of Banter and Queen Iseult look no nearer winning off their current marks. Nimitz won at Navan last month and went close again at Dundalk recently but, with nothing standing out in an uninspiring contest, a chance is taken on THEOTONIUS improving now handicapping for the first time - Jim Bolger’s Godolphin colt gets the vote.
