Verdict

Noel Meade has been patient with Dilshaan's Prize, a winner at the Curragh on his final start on the Flat in 2009 and a promising hurdler judged by his convincing victory at Listowel in September and a long absence shouldn't be a problem. However, the form of that race hasn't worked out particularly well so COTTRELSBOOLEY looks the safer option. Willie Mullins charge landed a maiden hurdle over this trip in good style at Leopardstown in December and was by no means disgraced when leading for much of the way in the Grade 1 Deloitte Novices' Hurdle over 2m2f there subsequently. Four Commanders couldn't cope with Grade 2 company here after beating Shifa at Thurles while Mackeys Forge didn't enjoy the heavy ground at Tramore after beating Silverlord at Navan.
