Verdict
Beverley's Hilary Needler Trophy invariably produces a speedy filly and this year's heroine GEESALA fits the bill. Kevin Ryan's filly looks a very nice type and looks capable of upsetting the home contingent led by Catherineofaragon. Aidan O'Brien's filly made a promising start behind So Stylish at Navan and didn't have much to do when scoring at Dundalk but she's a promising filly with more to offer. Foot Perfect was as green as grass behind Catherineofaragon at Dundalk but showed the benefit with a very convincing victory at Navan and can go on from here. The superbly-bred Cat Fire has much more to do than when scrambling home at Fairyhouse but could be anything while Radharcnafarraige has improved with each run and it would be no surprise to see him go close.
