In depth

Verdict

Tsar Paul has shot up an incredible 17lbs after scoring for the second time this year at Dundalk but may not be finished yet as he could hardly have won more easily. Cape Vale is a useful sprinter who is having his first start at this trip. He's not badly treated despite a big weight and would be a threat is staying the extra. Anam Chara attempted to make all when fancied over a mile at Wexford but was caught inside the final furlong. She's on a fair mark at present and should lead them a merry dance which may take the consistent Spirit Of Xaar off his feet. BEAN UASAL found Navan's 5f much too sharp last time and it's interesting that John Oxx steps her up to today's trip. She hasn't had much racing and looks the type to make enough progress to take this.
