In depth

Verdict

Bit Of Banter landed a course and distance handicap in September and was only just beaten on a return visit the following month. He'll be better for last month's Dundalk run and should make a bold bid to go in again. Future Proof has been in very good form over hurdles without winning and, if transferring that to the Flat, will be in the mix. Arthurian Fame was only beaten a neck by Still Standing at Fairyhouse in September and the winner runs in much better class here earlier. SHRINGARA (NAP) has been handed a mark of 78 after a narrow victory over Echo Park at Killarney in July. The runner-up has won twice subsequently and is now rated 91 on Turf so John Oxx' filly looks thrown in on that form.
